The highlight of JPAMA (ADDU) Popfest '12

Lord and Lady Of Excellence

We, the designers, are so proud of our work. After days of conceptualizing and making this costume, our efforts paid off. We won as the Best Eco Dress Designer and received a cash price. We're still finalizing the small details of the costume hours before the event. We were so busy that day, paint here, cut there and paste. We don't even have time to check our cellphones. Thanks also to our classmates who helped and made all this possible.

 Carmela and Ding were confident as they went out from the backstage. They're so ready and  projected the costume very well. And because of this, they both gained a special award -- Best in Eco Dress. 

Other awards they won:

Best in Neon: Ding

Best in Corporate Attire: Carmela & Ding

oh! I'm blogging again.

Due to slow internet connection at home (not fixed yet), I can't blog my activities on time. I can only use the internet during late night.

Before summer ended, I had a chance to bond with my friends. This is quite exciting because it's our first time to go on an outing together. Even if we had a problem the night before because the van we booked was not available. We tried to find other alternative transportation but we ended up commuting (jeepney and Hop-on). Here's our adventure on the way to VILLA THE MERCEDES.

Part II

As promised, I'm gonna posts some pictures taken on the second day of our shooting. YEY!

We had a very long day that time. Since we didn't prepare any script, everything was impromptu.

Much time was wasted because we didn't plan ahead. Our minds were blank and can't think of any concept.

But thank God, we still finished it that day.

The shoot was done at about 7pm already.

We are really exhausted at the end of the day.

Lesson learned: Plan ahead to maximize time and avoid delays. :)

Theology First Shooting Day

Library Hangout

I would like to share to you one of my activities in school every semester....

 I'm working in the ADDU library as a student assistant..

Wonder why I'm working there? here's the story..

Before I finished my enrollment  in Ateneo de Davao University,  I applied first for their Scholaship Program. I'm frotunate enough that my application was accepetd and the scholarship was granted to me. In return of this Scholarship, I am asked to work for 30 hours every semester. During my freshmen days, i tried working on some offices like Campus Ministry and FYDP. But the only working place that I'm comfortable with is th LIBRARY. So since then, I regularly work in our library specifically on the Filipiniana and Reference Section. The palce is so serene and the one supervising me is not stict.  (FYI: I can work for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 4 hours a day. The date  and time is my choice. I just work whenever I have free time or whenever I wanted. No Pressure!)

When I'm Not doing something or if I'm already done with the things assigned to me, BOREDOM strikes...
